You were born with potential
You were born with goodness and trust
You were born with ideals and dreams
You were born with greatness
You were born with wings
You are not meant for crawling, so don’t.
You have wings
Learn to use them and fly.

fyrelite:

You are not a waste of space. You were put on this earth for SOMETHING, so go out and find it! Don’t just sit there and do nothing or you will become something that collects dust…and nobody likes old dusty things. Keep moving forward…

When people accept who you are, they’re also accepting the person who you’re meant to be.

They recognize the potential in you to become someone better, and yes that means change but sometimes change is good.

Don’t close your mind, swallow your pride, who are you to resist the inevitability of change? At least you’ve got people waiting to welcome you at your restart. Think about it.

If I had had to write only about imaginary people, I would have had to close up my typewriter. I wrote about my life in less and less disguise as I grew older, and finally with no disguise — except the disguise we create for ourselves, which is self-deception.
I’m afraid that some times you’ll play lonely games too.
Games you can’t win ‘cause you’ll play against you.
Dr. Seuss, Oh, the Places You’ll Go! (via liquidnight)
theb-sideofthings:

So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, comformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more damaging to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man’s living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun. -CHRISTOPHER MCCANDLESS

The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts.
